[Reminder] Debate TODAY! Ward 23 Candidates meet for an All Candidates Debate tonight at 7:30 PM

Dear Friends and Neighbours,

Tonight, the candidates for Ward 23 – Scarborough North will be on stage together for an All Candidates Debate, and I hope you'll join us.

This is one of the best chances you'll have to hear directly from everyone running, compare our ideas side by side, and hear where we stand on the issues that matter most to you and your family.

I'll be there, and I'm looking forward to the conversation. The event details are as below:

WHEN: Today, Thursday, October 1 | 7:30 – 9:00 PM

WHERE: Knox United Church – Christian Education Building (adjacent to the church),

2569 Midland Ave, Scarborough (corner of Midland & Sheppard)

• Wheelchair accessible

• Parking off Rural Ave

• Light refreshments

• Multilingual materials on municipal government available on request

The debate is a non-partisan community event hosted by the Scarborough Rosewood Community Association, 42 Voices and the C.D. Farquharson Community Association, in association with Scarborough United Neighbourhoods and SCAN – Scarborough Civic Action Network.

Thank you to the organizers for bringing our community together.

Please bring a neighbour, a friend, or a family member.

Local democracy works best when we all show up.

See you tonight,

Jamaal Myers
